4 years agoSan Diego Padres right-handed pitcher Chris Paddack is heading to the postseason alongside his club, although what his role will be remains undecided. The club currently pegs Dinelson Lamet and Mike Clevinger to start Games 1 and 2 of the Wild Card series, respectively, although both are dealing with arm injuries that may force Paddack into duty. After looking like a future Cy Young contender during 2019, Paddack regressed a tad in 2020, posting a 4.73 ERA across 12 starts, done in by 14 home runs in 59 innings. Check back for an update on how the Padres will deploy Paddack, as he would be a high-upside DFS selection in the case that he is needed to start.--Jesse Borek
