4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Chris Paddack gathered his second victory Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, pitching six frames of three-run ball. Paddack wasn’t his sharpest, yielding five hits including a leadoff home run by Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson, but the Friars offense bailed him out. He fanned five and walked none. Through three starts, the 24-year-old owns a clean 2.65 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 7.9 K/9. Though he’s rewarded fantasy teams thus far, he’ll need to go deeper into games to become a true ace. He’ll face the Arizona Diamondbacks at home on Sunday to conclude a two-start week.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
