3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale made his first start in 730 days Saturday, and he was very effective in five innings. Sale allowed two runs, both on solo homers, on six hits and no walks. He struck out eight batters. Sale threw 89 pitches, reinforcing the idea that the Red Sox were not going to bring him back until he was fully stretched out.
