4 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Chris Sale is fully healthy and will enter Spring Training without any arm issues, according to Red Sox general manager Brian O'Halloran. However, Sale will have the start of his Spring Training schedule delayed due to an illness that he is currently dealing with, but the left-hander will resume his normal program once he’s fully recovered from the illness. “He’s ill. He’s sick, so that’s going to slow him down. But other than that, he’s fine,” O'Halloran said. Sale will look to put a disappointing 2019 season in the past, as he posted a career-worst 4.40 ERA, 6-11 record and 218 strikeouts across 147 1/3 innings — his lowest single-season innings total since the 2011 season. The 30-year-old made his final start on August 13 against the Indians, and later that month he was shut down for the remainder of the season due to elbow inflammation. Sale is a strong candidate for a bounce-back season if he can remain healthy, and fantasy owners have the chance to draft the Red Sox ace at a discounted price with his ADP sitting significantly lower compared to last season.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
