6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (illness) played catch on Thursday and is ready for a potential Game 6 of the American League Championship Series against the Astros back in Boston on Saturday. Sale was shaky with his command in Game 1 last Saturday and was admitted to the hospital last weekend with stomach issues. He was too weak to make the start in Game 5 on Thursday, so he has been pushed back. In a best-case scenario, the Red Sox wrap up the ALCS with a win on Thursday, which would give Sale a little extra time before his next start. If he starts in a Game 6 against Houston, he'll be a little more risky as a DFS play after losing strength and weight this week due to his illness.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
