5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (forearm) has resumed throwing in recent days for the first time since he was shut down due to a flexor tendon strain. Sale has begun a throwing program, but a report suggested the left-hander could need to undergo surgery if he feels discomfort during progression. The 30-year-old will benefit from the delayed start to the 2020 Major League Baseball season, as he could be ready to go for the new Opening Day date depending on his progression over the coming months, giving fantasy owners hope that the left-hander will produce a bounce-back campaign in 2020.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
