6 years agoBoston Red Sox ace Chris Sale tossed three scoreless innings while only allowing a single hit in Sunday's 4-3 win over the New York Mets. Sale recorded a single strikeout without issuing a walk. The 29-year-old has a 12-4 record on the season to go along with a 1.92 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 222/33 K/BB ratio. Sale is slowly building up his arm strength, so he should pitch about four innings in his next start on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians.
