Chris Thompson A Risky Option With PPR Upside
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson's fantasy value for Week 15 is likely to hinge on whether or not Adrian Peterson is able to get anything going on the ground against the Eagles. Philly is one of the least friendly fantasy defenses for running backs, which lends itself to the idea that Peterson may struggle. If such is the case on Sunday, the Redskins may have to turn to Thompson as the pass-catcher in order to move the ball. Dwayne Haskins hasn't shown anything that indicates the Redskins should be ready to trust him to launch the ball downfield for an entire game, so Thompson could be set up for a decent PPR day in the short-range passing game if this contest breaks right for him. He's coming off an eight-target outing in Week 14. Thompson isn't without his fair share of risk, but there is a clear path to opportunity here for fantasy owners scrambling to find a flex option in PPR leagues.
