Chris Thompson Facing Favorable Week 6 Matchup
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson has been the one constant in a volatile offense this season. No matter how bad things have gotten, Thompson has seen at least five targets in every game and is averaging an even seven. He trails only Terry McLaurin for the overall team lead on a per-game basis. Moreover, his only truly dreadful fantasy day came in Week 5 against New England. He's turned his opportunities into at least 48 receiving yards in four of five games. If he could just get into the endzone once in awhile, his overall fantasy output would look much better. Case Keenum will be back under center this week, and Thompson's receiving numbers in three games with Keenum as the full-time QB are as follows: 16 catches, 23 targets, 195 yards. Consider Thompson a PPR flex option against a Miami defense that has already given up three receiving touchdowns to running backs.
