6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (rib) was injured in the fourth quarter on Monday night against the Saints and is questionable to return. Thompson was blasted on a pass near the goal line and stayed down for a while. He had eight carries for 17 yards and six catches on eight targets for 45 yards before departing. In a blowout loss, this is the last thing the Redskins wanted to see. If Thompson is forced to miss extended time, Adrian Peterson would see even more of the backfield workload. Kapri Bibbs, who scored a goal-line touchdown, would serve as the direct backup to Peterson and could be worth an add off the waiver wire in deep PPR leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
