6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (ribs) and wide receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle) are both sitting out of practice for the second straight day. Neither player looks to have a good chance of playing in Week 9 against the Falcons. With Adrian Peterson turning back the clock in the backfield, Thompson was rarely used last week. He's become a shaky RB3/flex at far less than 100 percent. Crowder hasn't played since Oct. 8 and belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues in this bad passing offense. Left tackle Trent Williams (knee) also remains sidelined, which could be bad news for quarterback Alex Smith's protection this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
