6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (rib) will not play on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys. Thompson has been dealing with the injury for a significant portion of the season, and though he had hoped to be available in Week 12, the injury continues to cause the 28-year-old a substantial amount of pain. As expected, veteran running back Adrian Peterson, who rushed for 99 yards off of 24 carries against in Dallas back in October, will be the main guy in the backfield with Kapri Bibbs sparingly picking up passes out of the backfield.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
