5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson ran for just 29 yards on seven attempts in the loss to Chicago on Monday night but was able to offset his lack of efficiency as a runner by collecting four passes for 79 yards. With Adrian Peterson, who had 37 yards on 12 attempts, unable to get much going, Thompson had his number called by quarterback Case Keenum throughout the night against a tough Bears Defense. The 28-year-old hasn't made waves in a traditional sense, but he will continue to be involved in the team's passing attack moving forward, making him an adequate option in deeper formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
