Chris Thompson To Reprise Third-Down Role
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson made the 53-man roster and he is expected to resume his role as the team's third-down back. He isn't likely to see more than a handful of sniffs per game unless something happens to Adrian Peterson or Rob Kelley to force them off the field for a lengthy absence. Even then, Thompson would have to battle Samaje Perine for touches in such scenario, and perhaps even practice squad signee Kapri Bibbs. For now, Thompson is only worth retaining as a RB5 in deeper PPR fantasy formats. Leave him to the waiver wire in all other leagues.
