3 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Christian Arroyo (shin) exited Sunday's contest with a bone bruise on his right shin, according to Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe. Arroyo was injured in the bottom of the fifth inning on a collision with center fielder Kike Hernandez while trying to make a play on a shallow fly ball. Arroyo was down on the ground in pain before being helped off the field, and was replaced by Marwin Gonzalez.
