3 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Christian Arroyo (hamstring) is most likely heading to the injured list after exiting Sunday's game due to a strained hamstring, according to Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic. Arroyo exited Sunday's game while stretching out to make a catch during his first career start at first base. This is disappointing news for fantasy managers, as Arroyo had been hitting well over his last 15 games with a .260 average, .788 OPS, three homers, 10 RBI and six runs scored. With Arroyo out, this will likely lead to more playing time for Jarren Duran, with Kike Hernandez likely seeing less time in the outfield and instead filling in for Arroyo at second base.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
