3 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder Christian Arroyo was already on the COVID list after being deemed a close contact of Kike Hernandez, and he has now tested positive for the virus. Arroyo is likely to be out for the next 10 days. With both Hernandez and Arroyo out, Jonathan Arauz and Yairo Munoz were recalled from Triple-A, but Arauz left Sunday's game with an injury. Danny Santana is expected to return from a rehab assignment shortly, and he and Munoz figure to split time at second base for the time being.
