7 years agoSeattle Mariners pitcher Christian Bergman pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only two hits but getting a no-decision as the Mariners lost to the Rangers 5-1. Bergman was a last minute addition to the rotation but performed admirably. He struck out five hitters through 90 pitches and certainly earned another look moving forward. Bergman went 4-5 last season for the Mariners with a 5.00 ERA and has been pitching in Triple-A this season. Bergman will try and carry this success into his next start.--Joey C - RotoBaller
