3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring), who is officially listed as questionable, has a chance to play in Sunday's game against New England. McCaffrey is not yet on the active roster -- the team has until 4 p.m. on Saturday to activate him -- but head coach Matt Rhule is optimistic that the star halfback will see his first game action since Week 3. The All-Pro runner will be on a snap count if active, per Rhule, a wise approach given the injuries he's dealt with these last two years. McCaffrey and rookie Chuba Hubbard could share the backfield duties, or Hubbard could be tasked with the lead role once again. Fantasy managers should stay tuned on Saturday. McCaffrey would be a strong start, albeit with more risk than usual, against a Patriots defense that has surrendered the second-most receiving yards to backs over the last four weeks.--Tim Capurso
