3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a limited participant in practice this week but ultimately ruled out for Sunday's game. CMC's next chance to return will be Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. Chuba Hubbard will be the Panthers' primary running back on Sunday while McCaffrey is sidelined. Hubbard logged 47 percent of the offensive snaps in the Panthers' Week 4 loss to the Cowboys and finished 57 rushing yards on 13 attempts while catching both targets for 14 yards. Rodney Smith will handle third-down duties and is expected to be out there for the majority of passing situations.
