Christian McCaffrey To Have Normal Training Camp
2 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said that he doesn't expect many changes with running back Christian McCaffrey's (ankle) preseason preparation. McCaffrey isn't expected to play at all in the preseason after playing in just 10 total games over the last two seasons due to injuries. But in his last healthy season in 2019, CMC went off for 1,387 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 116 catches for 1,005 yards and four more TDs in 16 games. Although he isn't in play for the first overall fantasy selection anymore, he should still be considered a top-five fantasy back for his upside alone, even in a Panthers offense with questions at quarterback. The good news is that the 26-year-old didn't need offseason surgery on his injured ankle.
