Christian McCaffrey's Stock Is Rising
2 years agoAlthough the Carolina Panthers are being cautious with running back Christian McCaffrey at training camp this summer after a rash of injuries the last two seasons, he's not exactly taking it easy either. Head coach Matt Rhule said McCaffrey won't practice more than two days in a row in full pads, but he's still getting plenty of work in as he looks to bounce back in 2022. CMC won't play in preseason games, and there's a plan to be smarter with him during the regular season as well, but it doesn't include putting him in bubble wrap. "Christian's a dominant football player. He plays a high-contact, high-percent-of-injury position. We're going to put him out there and play him," Rhule said. "I think we're all thinking about Christian one way only, and that's attack."
