6 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez (finger) and starting pitcher Brian Johnson (hip) have both been placed on the 10-day disabled list, per the Athletic's Jen McCaffrey. Vazquez has a right fifth finger fracture and Johnson has left hip inflammation. Johnson's DL move will be retroactive to July 5. Pitcher William Cuevas was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket and pitcher Ryan Braiser was activated to the Major League roster. While the moves will hurt the Red Sox, none of the news is all that actionable for fantasy players, as neither player has been great this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
