5 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez only notched one hit in Tuesday's win over Colorado, a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Vazquez has taken a steep ascent up the fantasy catcher rankings with his career year of 112 hits, 55 runs, 57 runs batted in, and 24 walks on top of his 19 bombs. There's little doubt that his production is unsustainable, based off of his numbers prior to 2019, but all that matters is this year. If you scooped him off of waivers earlier this year, he very well could help carry you to a fantasy title.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
