3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox placed catcher Christian Vazquez and infielder Jonathan Arauz on the COVID-19 list on Tuesday. Right-hander Tyler Danish was recalled from Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move, while the team also selected the contract of outfielder Rob Refsnyder from Worcester. Backup catcher Kevin Plawecki landed on the COVID list on Monday, so the Red Sox are seriously short-handed at the position this week. Connor Wong is set to make his first start of the season on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Expect the Red Sox to call up Ronaldo Hernandez from Worcester to help Wong handle catching duties until Vazquez and Plawecki are cleared to return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
