3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez picked up two more hits Sunday, going 2-for-4 with two singles against the Philadelphia Phillies. This gives Vazquez a modest four-game hit streak, during which he's collected six hits and a walk in sixteen plate appearances, though only one of those went for extra bases. This is a promising sign for the veteran backstop, who has struggled mightily in the first half to the tune of a .659 OPS.
