3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez stole his eighth base of the year against the Kansas City Royals. He also went 1-for-4 with a single. Among all players who play catcher as their primary position, Vazquez now has double the number of steals on the year of the next closest player. He's also slowly improved his production at the plate, with a .797 OPS over his last seven games.
