6 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez underwent finger surgery on Tuesday and is expected out for the next six to eight weeks. Vazquez's timetable was already confirmed with the successful surgery inserting a pin into his finger. Sandy Leon will see the majority of starts behind the plate and is a recommended pickup for the time being in most leagues.--Dan Fappiano
