5 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez lifted a walk-off two-run homer in the tenth inning capping a 7-5 comeback victory for the Red Sox. Vazquez didn’t start the game, but ended up being the hero going 1-for-2 and blasting his ninth dinger of the year. The 28-year-old is having a tremendous year offensively batting .292 after a down 2018 where he hit a lowly .207. Vazquez has already set a new career-high in home runs and is on pace to surpass his previous run and RBI benchmarks.
