7 years agoAfter going 0-for-4 in his first start of the season, San Diego Padres third baseman Christian Villanueva returned to the lineup Tuesday night where he went 3-for-3 with three home runs, four runs scored and five RBI in San Diego's 8-4 victory. Villanueva became the seventh player in franchise history with a three-homer game, and the first since Hunter Renfroe last September. The 26-year-old now has seven home runs over 39 major league at-bats, and he could end up being a good waiver wire add if he can get regular playing time.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
