6 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Christian Villanueva went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and a run in the 6-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. After going eight starts and ten games without a base hit, Villanueva now has a hit in three of his last four games including two home runs. Villanueva's potential to put balls in the seats continues to show as even with his hitless stretch, he still has 11 home runs on the season, putting him tied for 13th in the league. If Villanueva can get back to consistent, everyday time at third base, he should be once again owned in all formats.--Caden Inaba
