5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker is 1-for-his last 26 and batting .169 in the month of May. Walker is an interesting case because he is third in the major leagues in hard contact rate at 55 percent but simply isn't getting results despite the positive batted ball data. Now he is at risk of losing playing time to the recently promoted Kevin Cron. Walker remains an interesting bench stash in deep leagues in case results start to follow the batted ball trends but he shouldn't be started at this time and can be dropped in shallower mixed leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
