2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Christian Watson's (undisclosed) injury isn't considered serious and he's expected to "miss a little bit of time" in training camp, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. Watson was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday after having an undisclosed procedure in the offseason. The 23-year-old pass-catcher has plenty of upside in a receiving corps with plenty of opportunity now that Davante Adams is gone, but missed time in training camp for rookies is never a good thing. Watson never caught more than 43 passes in a single season at North Dakota State, so he might need more seasoning than most rookie wideouts, making him a better late-round flier in rookie-only drafts in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
