Christian Yelich Activated From COVID-19 IL Saturday

3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (COVID-19) has been activated from the COVID-19 injured list and will be available off the bench, according to Will Sammon of The Athletic. Yelich had been dealing with mild symptoms, but as expected based on earlier reports he required only a short stay on the injured list. Yelich will be on the bench for Saturday night's matchup with the Giants, but could be back in the lineup on Sunday for the series finale. Managers will hope for a better performance to close out the year from Yelich, as he's slashing .235/.382/.367 with six homers, seven steals, 28 RBI and 44 runs scored over 67 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
