Christian Yelich Belts Two-Run Homer In Saturday's Win
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in a 9-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday. He took Locke St. John deep in the eighth inning for his third long ball of the season. After slumping to start the year, Yelich is beginning to turn things around. The 30-year-old is slashing .462/.533/.1.456 with two home runs and four RBI over his last five games. Overall, Yelich is slashing .230/.322/.405 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored, and two stolen bases across 87 plate appearances in 2022.
