5 years agoReigning MVP and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is doing everything he can to keep the award in 2019, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three walks. Yelich saved the biggest hit for last, doubling home Tyler Austin in the bottom of the ninth to give the Brewers the 3-2 victory. Yelich is not only marching toward a second straight MVP but also towards history, as the three stolen bases give him 30 on the year, which with his 44 homers puts him within striking distance of being the first player to ever join the 50-homer, 30-stolen base club.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
