3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went 1-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 3-1 win over San Francisco. Yelich doubled in the first inning, then scored the first run of the game on a single by Omar Narvaez. After scuffling for the majority of the season, he is batting .308 in August and has at least one hit in his last 17 starts. The 29-year-old is slashing .254/.376/.395 with eight home runs, 41 RBI, 58 runs, and eight steals in 362 plate appearances. Despite the lack of home runs this season, he is heating up with four doubles in his last six games. Fantasy owners who have been patient with Yelich are finally starting to see benefits.--James Stokke
