3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI in a 2-1 win over the Pirates on Sunday. It was just his second multi-hit performance in his last 12 games, as he has struggled all year long with a .236/.375/.360 triple-slash line, six homers, seven steals, 31 RBI and 49 runs scored over 76 games. He's heated up slightly at the plate over his last seven games where he's slashing .280/.333/.360 with three RBI and four runs scored, but it's looking very unlikely that managers should anticipate a late-season resurgence at the plate for Yelich.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
