2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) is telling people that he is feeling better at the moment, but it's unclear how much his back issues that cropped up a couple years ago have curtailed his production -- moving him from an MVP level to the ranks of average. Yelich said earlier this year that he was feeling discomfort in a different part of his back, but he says he's doing better now. The 30-year-old has gone 3-for-11 with two walks and three strikeouts in four games since his return to close out the first half of the season, and he has a .251/.347/.379 slash line with eight home runs, 31 RBI, 59 runs scored and 13 stolen bases heading into the second half of the season.
