Christian Yelich Logs Four Hits Saturday
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich had a terrific night at the plate on Saturday by going 4-for-5 in his club's 7-0 win over the Cubs. Three of his hits went for singles but the biggest one came in the seventh inning when he blasted a three-run homer off Rowan Wick to right field. It was the 10th long ball of the year for the former MVP who is now hitting .260 on the year with 81 runs, 42 RBI, and 16 stolen bases through 120 games. Although his days of a first-round fantasy superstar appear to be over, Yelich is still providing some speed and sturdy counting numbers in his age-30 season.
