4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich was given a rest day on Monday. Yelich originally appeared in the team's lineup for their game against the Padres, though the team was managing his workload- and it wasn't injury-related. The 2018 National League MVP had a down year in the shortened 2020 season, posting his lowest OPS since 2015 while striking out at the highest rate of his career. Fortunately, Yelich still hit the ball really hard when he made contact, though he was far less aggressive at the plate during the shortened season. While he may not approach MVP-type numbers in 2021, Yelich can be confidently selected at the end of the first round as a five-category contributor, as fantasy managers can expect him to be more aggressive at the dish.--Tim Capurso
