Christian Yelich Scratched With Back Tightness
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) was scratched from the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins with mid-back tightness. This won't be the first time that Yelich has dealt with back issues, so fantasy managers should be somewhat concerned that this could land him on the injured list to close out the first half of the season. For now, though, consider him day-to-day until we know more about his condition. Yelich is hitting a modest .250/.345/.383 on the season with eight home runs, 31 RBI, 56 runs scored and 13 stolen bases in 84 games played. Jonathan Davis is starting in center field and is hitting ninth, while Andrew McCutchen will serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup against Twins right-hander Josh Winder on Tuesday.
