3 years agoChristopher Bell has one appearance at the top level at Fontana. It did not end well. After 80 laps, Bell's engine failed as he finished 38th. This was after a 22nd place start. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver starts in 19th and has shown an ability to race on any type of track. Even a two-mile intermediate track like Fontana could be a place where Bell worms his way up the standings. The No. 20 driver did that a lot last year as he finished with 16 top-10 results.
