Christopher Bell On The Ropes At Talladega
3 years agoChristopher Bell has raced at Talladega just three times at the top level of NASCAR. His last one was a 17th for Joe Gibbs Racing where he started sixth. That was the key. He avoided the wrecks and drove his race. Now, will that be enough with him on the outside looking in this playoff round? That answer is no. Bell needs a good result. The No. 20 car starts 12th on Sunday and will need to move up the field. The problem is that Bell may not quite have the downforce or instinct to keep his lines long enough to make up position. It is why he is a risky proposition at best to roster in most lineups.
