Chuba Hubbard Sees Seven Touches In Preseason Week 2

2 years agoCarolina Panthers second-year running back Chuba Hubbard handled six carries for 22 yards and one reception for a four-yard-loss in Friday's preseason matchup against the New England Patriots. D'Onta Foreman started in the backfield this week, but the two rotated throughout Carolina's first four drives and were both mostly ineffective. Hubbard disappointed fantasy managers when Christian McCaffrey went down in 2021, which explains why Foreman is currently being drafted almost three rounds earlier. Both could be worthy of a late-round dart throw for the potential of being the primary backup to McCaffrey, who has appeared in only ten games in the past two seasons.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
