3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard carried the ball 24 times for 101 rushing yards, adding five catches for 33 receiving yards in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. Hubbard had the best game of his short pro career, as he impressively eclipsed the century mark on the ground. The rookie also showed his talent as a pass-catcher, finishing second on the team in targets. Hubbard handled at least 15 touches in each game in relief of Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) and proved he could excel in a role as the lead back. He's a must-have for those who roster McCaffrey, who seems to be trending towards a Week 6 return.--Tim Capurso
