CJ Abrams Could Make Opening Day Roster
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop CJ Abrams has a solid chance of making the Opening Day roster. Eguy Rosario has been optioned to the minors, which leaves one roster spot available on the team. That spot is likely to go to a player that currently isn't on the 40-man roster. That means, one of the team's prospects has a good shot at making the roster. Abrams is hitting .304 with two homers in 11 Cactus League contests. There is tremendous upside here and his speed alone could make him an asset to the big league roster. Fantasy managers should watch this closely over the next few weeks.
