6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Clay Buchholz (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. The Blue Jays will go with an opener for the first time this season, as Daniel Hudson is set to start on Friday. Thomas Pannone has been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo as the corresponding move. Buchholz made five starts and logged a 6.57 ERA in 24 2/3 innings. The 34-year-old is nothing more than a streamer in deep mixed leagues when healthy, and he might only miss one or two starts.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
