Clay Buchholz Picks Up First Win of Season
5 years agoToronto starter Clay Buchholz picked up his first win of 2019, defeating the Houston Astros in his second start back from injury. Buchholz went 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits while walking five. Buchholz had virtually the same line in his first start back from the IL, when he got hung with the loss after surrendering two runs in six innings on the road in Seattle. The 35-year-old will have another difficult matchup in his next time out, when he goes on the road again to face Tampa Bay on Friday, making him a poor streaming option unless you're desperate for a quality start.
