Clayton Kershaw Could Return Saturday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (pelvis) could return from the injured list and pitch on Saturday against the division-rival San Francisco Giants instead of Sunday, according to skipper Dave Roberts. Kershaw has been out since mid-May with SI joint inflammation, but he's set to return this weekend after allowing one run on three hits while walking one and striking out seven in four innings for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga last Sunday. There will be a little more risk with the future Hall of Famer in his first start back, but Kershaw looked good in his rehab start and will be returning to a tidy 1.80 ERA, 0.733 WHIP and 32:3 K:BB ratio in 30 innings over five MLB starts this year.
